There is no discussion each weapon has it use.

My vibrolance is fast 2.7 while my axe is slow 4.4 but one does electric and the other kinetic.

If you fight a creature with a high kinetic resist and low electric, well use the lance. If it is the other way around, use the axe. If they are the same, depends on you and any other factors. Both weapons are nice, in fact I actually like the vibro lance due to the speed and slightly better accuracy.

i use my regular lance more then my lva because i used to be a pistol guy and it is faster

I use my LVA the most in PvE and VL against High Kinteic defense mobs

I use my standard Lance in pvp, 38-378dmg 3.7 spd +10 accuracy, 21/59/32 HAM

I have killed a Master BH, 2 Expert BHs, went toe to toe with a TKM but they got the last hit in, and a double incap against a fellow master pikeman. This Lance allows me to wear armor more often, i have a set of leggings (Adv Comp) that have the following stats

Kinetic 80%
Electric 68%
Stun 10%
All Other 60%
HAM Costs 93/157/63
