Just wondering, I don't. I amvery anti-creature in this game....I have done all my fighting my self...so do you use Pets?

I've never used a pet before to tank (well not mine anyways friends have had pets), but since I've been doing other professions in an attempt to make my character more defensive, I think I may have to try a pet out.

Eede has already offered a non-ch pet and I think I may take him up on the offer. Just to give it a try. Not because I feel I need it but because other professions just suck. Yeah!

i use a pet to level because i am a wookiee and with not being able to wear armor i get beat up real easy. I am also a holo pikeman but i have been using pets for a long time before when i was BH. I started using pets to help with Bounty marks because they were way too strong(they are fixed now) I like pets because they alow me to take on harder mobs by myself that i wouldnt be able to kill on my own. I also used to use them in PvP when i was BH to help stop people that desided to brust run away from me because gurrecks can keep up with someone when they burst. I have a hard time killing normal baz nitchs alone unless i swing 4-5 time then heal then swing 4-5 times then heal over and over again. With a pet i can take out a giant baz nitch lair in about 1 min. I have played as a swordsman and at 1011 i can take on voritor lizards alone. On my pikeman i have no chance.

oh by the way, i am 4033 in pikeman right now.

..sometimes my kaadu mount will aggro them enraged rancors, and it tanks for ca 3 secs before it's eaten alive. Oh yes, sometimes even my speederbike will tank for me, but than again; that's not a pet so...

At the start of the game i used a cowardly gurrek i got given and it helped me out heaps getting wanted xp for various things....but as a pikeman i havent used a pet, i feel if you get buffed before you go out to hunt you can kill most things without being slain or incapped...i do have three pets in data butdont bring em to fight my battles..plus 2 are only just growing up and one i cant use coz of diff lev
