Just a quick question, I'm slowly learning to use Pike as a pvp profession, I like the idea that i can make more than one person fall down on their butt with a kd. Just a quick question.... I have a pike that's max 633 w/o pup that's 2.6 speed, it has +21 to kd, +19 to block, and +19 to dizzy, would i get dismembered if I tried the DWB with this thing? Just because Pike is pretty much all AOE? Or would I stand a fair chance? the rest of my template is tkm/0430fencer/master brawler/ novice medic. plus another quick question... do my defenses stack with pikeman? because it seems that I take a ton more damage while I hold a pike in my hand than when I'm using my VK? I would just like to know... oh and just my input on another post.... I have some DOT pikes, but the only time I use them in PVP is when it's one on one with a Dark Jedi Knight, if they're not a Knight then I don't bother because usually my stacked defenses can handle, or keep up with, them.

fourtips for the DWB.

1) get a high damage LVA or Vibro-lance. (by high Ievel I mean 1000+ or so) If you have a LVA and a Vibro lance with the same damage, go with the Vibro lance. The droids there are vulnerable to Electric.

2) get buffed. Synthsteak,Canape, Brandy, Docter Buffs, Entertainer buffs, everthing. Bring extra food buffs for use in the place; it'll take a good while after all.

3) get high end comp armor in the 80+ range.

4) dont go alone. I mean a group of 20 or so.

Epront Cobes, Lowca Galaxy
Master Brawler, Fencer in training.
Private in the Rebellion against the Empire.

Well no matter what you are....trying to do the DWB solo is going to be bad news.

Also, you take more damage holding a pike because Pikeman Toughness is about half that of TK (meaning you essentially take twice the damage)
