in pvp you should be able to use it against people with out pants and just mess them up right? well you can't, it hits thier boots
funny thing..... TKA's leghit works just fine, they'll pump out 150-250 a shot on your legs non stop, it really works, whats the deal here? what a bunch of bull**edit**

There's a "reverse armor hole", so that if you're not wearing leggings all attacks that would normally hit them will hit the boots instead. It's a bug (though a pretty convenient one).
I suspect the TKA damage being higher is mostly because they're barely affected by mitigation, not because they've managed to bypass armor.

I thought that was fixed with Publish 10. I went out hunting with just boots, chest, helm, and gloves and was getting hit through armor holes all the time.

Hmm, I went out with my Mon Cal character last night with the same pieces and had no problems. On the other hand, my Wookiee was having armor hole problems all night, despite wearing a full suit.

No, it was not fixed, but since NPC specials returned in Publish 9, there have been reports of some NPC specials completely bypassing armor.

Look in the holocron, wookiees are supposed to have armor holes. Your "full suit" is designed to leave feet and hands uncovered.

True, but the reverse hole made that a moot point. Just like boots take all the damage that should hit the legs, Wookiee leggings had been taking all the damage that would otherwise hit the feet.
What I'm getting at is that the reverse hole may be fixed in some instances, but not others.

Most/All skirts and some pants will cause an armor hole and you WILL get hit in the legs. Reason I need to wear BE'd thin striped pants now =(
