Heya fellow pikeman!! I am currently 0-0-3-0. I think i may have chosen the wrong path, but as it is, anyone have any tips for me to grind this out in a few days. I have roughly 7-8 hours worth of play time a day(no job). I have all comp armor cept gloves and left/right bracers and a NS Lance that does a max 500ish(very low min). Any tips/advice are GREATLY appreciated.

Hmm. . .Well, most of that branch is defensive skills. There is nothing wrong with that, of course, but you need to really work on your speed and accuracy. As soon as you can, dump combat xp into at least 2 of the boxes on the right. Pikeman is a powerful profession, arguably second only to Rifleman, but you need to hit your target asoften as possible. Speed kills, especially in a melee profession. You really need to start leveling up the speed side on the left. Leave the defensive tactics alone for now, you have enough. Work on the speed and accuracy. Sorry ifI sound redundant.

First of all thanks for the advice. Secondly, after i picked up the NSL (speed 6.0) I realized that speed is a huge factor. There is about a 5 second delay between my spin2. What would you suggest I grind on?

Since you have good armor, you can do quenker and huurton missions on Dantooine. Good xp. You should also be able to handle lairs like the Narglatch cave on Naboo(It's a POI) and the Torton cave on Rori(also a POI). For constant xp though, huurtons and quenkers are your best bet. To help with your accuracy right now, I would recommend some enhancement foods like Snowcakes. They will help increaseyour attack tohit ratio while you level.

Also. . .be sure to be buffed on Dantooine.

I'd love some additional advice as well. I'm 4-0-0-3. I assume I should go up the offensive ladder next and get the area attacks, yes? Thanks!

Heya, I'm 0302, headed up the stances tree next. You've got the right idea...offense tree+area attacks=awesome. As for what kind of missions...Pikets on Dantooine. Be sure you're buffed all around (mind too) and have decent armor. I get around 35-40k xp/9-10k creditsper mission, and it rocks hard. Takes me about 15-25 minutes a mission, depending on the number of spawns (normally two spawns of 5 pikets, plus the lair). I use a vibro lance 137-515 damage and a 3-4 attack speed, and it's just great. Hope this helps!

Gah! There's one large problem. The NS lance has no armor piercing, and super large min-max differences, so unless it has absolutely tremendous damage, you're so much better off using a crafted VL or LVA. Well, you're probably always better off, actually.

I was just wondering when someone would notice he was using an NSL

I'm at 3111 right now....for all intensive purposes 3112. So far I've been doing quenkers.

Anyway I want to know wether 4111 is a better place to go, or up defense now. I really don't get buffed except for grinding, which I rarely do, so defense seems like an important thing. I am master medic but its annoying to have to use a stim between every special...

If you're having to stim between every special I'd suggest a buff

In response you your question - my personal view would be go to 4111 first.
