Well thanks for being nice. Not really new, as a matter of fact been here for a year. Just normally read the forums and dont post. And yes I am well aware of the fact that the trade forums are a good place for this kinda thing, which is why I put this up there first. Since I got a ton of help, like your terrific suggestion, I decided to put it up here to see if I could one decent response. I guess i was wrong.

ok then, since you want to use sarcasm, let's play.
Oh, I'm sure you'll just get tons of /tells giving you a price...and I'm sure that people won't mind sending /tells to Athelas on every server, you know, since you have none listed.
And I'm sure you'll get tons of help. You know, from the people who did their own price research.
and no, we don't mind yet another of these useless pricecheck posts on our forum...they just give us all so much enjoyment.

since you are relatively new here, I'll be nice.
Price checks should go on your server's trade forum. The reasoning for this is the prices of these would vary server to server. Something worth 5 million on Eclipse wouldnot be worth 5 million on the Europe servers.
Hope this makes sense.

That and the fact that those pikes are worthless...no matter what server you're on. Modded pikes are pointless unless they have high damage or a good DoT, becaues no one is going to use the pike just for the mods (sometimes Terrain Negotiation...maybe).

Good news and bad news.
Good news: I won't be a D*ck like some others.
Bad news: I can't see those lances being worth much to anybody other than a leveling toon. If I were switching to pike from another prof I would pretty happily drop some modest coin for the assistance to speed and or accuracy. Truthfully though, they will get outpaced pretty quickly even by a novice.
As a side note: Why do people get so fussy when somebody finds something and asks for input in the forum that generally should be their target audience?
You can in fact post on the trade forums but if you genuinely dont' know the value of the item- as is the case here, you will more than likely get flamed there too.
If you don't feel like answering the thread, don't open it. It isn't as if the title was misleading, and it also isn't as if these boards are so jammed with refreshing and interesting posts that a post like this bumps the one that you may or may not want to read into oblivion.

That was my point from the beginning. I have been a swordsman for a long time. You dont loot weapons with MoDs on them for the swordsmen profession, so i had no frame of reference as to what these might be worth. As they came off of NS Elders, I was hoping I got lucky.
As for the other posters here. I truly feel sorry for people who have nothing better to do, than post in a category that they know they have no intention of putting one useful piece of information in. I mean a simple, if the damage was better those would be worth a lot to me would have been sufficient. Butsome people have so little to do that they feel a need to flame a post that they feel is even beneath them to read, well so much for them.
BTW, letting me know that the sarcasm was coming with that warning, man that was really generous of you I appreciate that. It made your witless banter that followed truly biting. Thanks again mr. sensitive.
Also I am glad someone let me know that these Lances arent worth that much, thanks for that also. I guess I will put them on a vendor on WANDERHOME.

You do realize that you were given the same response that everyone that is checking prices gets, and I'll tell you why: You are asking us to check prices!
If you had asked us to "evaluate" your lances, and wanted us to tell you if they would be useful, or were the mods mearly "there" and had no practical use.
THAT would have gotten you the answers you were looking for, and your sarcastic answer to a post that was ment so spare you the WFN!'s and the **edit** NEWB!'s because you seemed to have made a 100% genuine mistake,mearly dug your own grave.....
Lot 1: Has some potential, if it getsa good damage slice and is powered-up.
Lot 2: Worthless, especialy since weapon damage (ie Polearm Damage) has been taken out for all professions, except TK.
For future reference: All NS Lances come with that health disease, it is like Janta Knive's mind poison, it appears on every NS lance.

You are right I should have used evaluate in my title, becuase that is what I was looking for, thanks for the info.
As far as the sarcastic response goes, I guess i jumped the gun a little. But the first line of the post, "I am gonna spare you" that crap really aggrevated me. He had no intention of helping me he just wanted to say something on a board. I mean he could have just ignored the post if he didnt want to talk to me.
Since I had no idea about Lances and what people expected from them I was just looking for info. You gave it to me.
I just feel that people should post where they can be of assistance. Had i gotten your post earlier i would have realized my mistake, rather than the one telling me how much of a nice guy he is by not flaming me.

Well I do appreciate it. I realize my mistake, and thanks for not flaming. While I am a novice poster I am a veteran reader. I just hate having to go through all the flames to get to the pertinent information. You made a good point, I will take your advice in the future.
