Helpfull tip for polearm users is to pick up a carbine as it does action damage as same as the polearm does. Shoot them as they run and when they stop wack them with a stick pointy end towards them.

I plan on being a Pikeman/Teras Kasi, I still don't understand how a Teras Kasi (or Pikeman) can fight something like a krayt dragon at such a close range...

I would rather stand at a distance and throw rocks at the dragon.

But I don't think your suppose to solo a dragon, so you will be in a group, and just hope that the dragon doesn't get pissed off at you first.

Another chick with a stick! I was beginning to think I was one of a very few pike-people, and maybe the only pikelady lol. Glad to know there's more than one of us!

as soon as i looted a metal staff and i whacked my first beast i was hooked. But i have so many complaints about the profession.. like HOW many time in a row can you possibly miss something thats right in your face(expert polearms, getting his ass kicked bya luna because i kept missing, had to switch to pistol). And when will Weaponsmith start making lances and long vibros?

Anyways, my favorite thing about being a pikeman, is shooting a beast from far to get its attention, then switching to polearm, and just wait in stance ready to strike, watching it charge you, then just before it attack you... WACK! andthe thing dies.

New types of weapons for polearm are long in coming i agree. Lances are located in the TIER II melee box.. and most weaponsmith's build guns.

The Vibro Lance is TIER IV Melee.

My first focus upon getting to Weaponsmith is getting to the melee weapons.. I need to create a little love for my melee brothers. You guys are the greatest. The people that use my Reinforced Combat Staff are totally happy. I am dedicated to finding and using the best materials in their construction.

The best RCS I can build is my 49-106 MaruTECK BattleStaff -[RCS]- My wookie pals are demolishing Action Lines across the whole Galaxy.

If you are on the Eclipse server and want to own one of these beauties send a tell to SYR. I am continuing to locate a better source of wood as I have 20% more experimentation growth on the final product.
