Thread: Missing is pissing me off!
im only master polearm and use a reinforced combat staff... I miss allot too! But i thought it would get easier when you went up to pikeman?![]()
This kind of scares me.... Im a noob and i took Pikeman because it looked cool, but if this is so hard i might wanna go Marksman or something other melee![]()
What pisses me off is that sence melee fighter are so close. We should get a lower miss % than we have. When your useing special attacks and keep missing and end up doing more dmg to yourself than the enemy does to you, there is something wrong there. I'm not talking about maybe a few more dmg to yourself, I'm talking bout when your fighting and the enemy only does bout 200 dmg to you and you do around 700 dmg to yourself cause you miss so much. I just feel like this is a problem that needs fixxing... I can understand missing a red con but a blue con... that just stuiped... All those misses i was talking about came from a blue con creature.
I am definately missing more - I think I also miss more when I have higher battle fatigue. Does that make sense?

Yes Yoda, I believe that plays a part also because I thought I missed with my Long Vibro Axe a lot, when I had just over 200 BF because I was out soloing big game for a few hours, I was missing more times then I could count on my fingers.
I miss some, but my weapon hits so hard it makes up for misses. I take yellows solo and a red or two.
somebody said im so close i should have a lower % of misses. Try walking backwards using the pole, it makes a diff. you forget we are using a ranged melee weapon. In baseball you know what it means when the pitcher handcuffs a batter? the ball was so close to his hands the batter couldnt swing the bat to hit it. try grabbing a broom hold it in front of you chest get face to face with somebody and try to see how easy its to swing. then take a step back and see how you can swing freely yet still be in range to wallup them, but they cant punch you, make sense.
