Pikeman Archive

I've heard rumor's of the Dev's planning on nerfing the pikeman damage/whatever some. Anyone else hear this? I need to decide, because if they do im going to ditch it and go TKA.

If they do nerf it... !#^& this game, I am going back to planetside. There is a fine line between 'challenge' and 'I'm a !$#^ing idiot'. I already have to deal with skilless jerks killing me in two headshots at half a mile through a mountain and behind several rocks.

This would be disheartening if true - but we can step up to the plate. Haven't heard anything "official".

I heard they are planing on fixxing unarmed combat. I think if anything melee needs to be moved up in dmg or health or something. I get really mad when i'm playing with a group and get incaped right before the kill and get no exp.

Cheese, that is why I left doing big hunting parties, unless it is with friends only, because otherwise you will be used as a meat shield, and that is about it.

I'f they nerf pikeman, I will leave this game. There is no need to do such a thing.

Pikemen are already teh gimp, most people I know that are pikemen, myself included are pikemen just to be different.

Very true. I started out as an artisan and chose pikeman to fend off mobs while I'm running around harvesting. I chose it because not everyone around you is a pikeman. (or woman in my case.) To top that off I'm Mon Calamari. I like to be unique.
