Pikeman Archive

Hello all. I am a total newbie, got the game yesterday. I am considering being a pikeman. THis means I will need to get into mele range if I have any chance of killing ranged players in PvP. What is the best race/statsto resist knockdown and headshots? Is a Zabrak with its bonuses in willpower and resistance the best PVP race? It seems from reading many posts here thatmost range PvP'ers will be relying on knockdown and headshots. I want the best chance I have to run up to them and actually catch them. What skills/stats are used by Burst Run, and what skills/stats/race is best for defending against positional changes (like resisting knockdown)?

Also, and forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I want to play on a server that has a lot of PvP. Is there a "commonly known" server that has a lot of pvp, orare they all pretty much the same?

With stat migration you can essentially be whoever you want to be. I am a mon calamari polearmer. Your stats will max at 1000 unless you are a breed that gets bonuses in that area. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This page here will give you all of the starting stats of each race/class combo. Keep in mind that you can also change these stats once your character is created. I am a Zabrak brawler, so I have 1200 health, 1100 action and 500 mind. I haven't tweaked my stats at all yet, but I am thinking that I am going to do some playing around with them
