Anybody else notice the range attack mobs on long vibro axes and vibro lances are real high?
To go from 10 on a fp lance to a -34 on a vibro lance seems pretty severe to me. So even at ideal range my attack mod is like -48 which is lovely for missing 3 times in a row i could run and barely notice the 2 point difference. Is this range attack mod intended?

I have a regular lance and I've noticed my mod is always -6. I never knew why, but I just took it for granted. now I'm kind of curious why that is. maybe it's a crafting issue?

Yes. Been that way since I started playing the game back at beggining of Beta2. Make sure your at least a Novice pikeman before attempting to use those weapons. I"d suggrest getting the 2n polearm support (far right side of the pikeman tree) before going with vibro axe as your main weapon. I miss about %15-%20 of the time with my vibro lance with its -36 range mods. Its a problem about 1 out of 10 fights so I'm just loving the thing to death. There always that fight were you start chain missing and your pretty much screwed but my vibro lance has a 4.6 attack speedcouple with my Novice Pikeman rank I hit at a good speed and can live off a couple of misses. I say a couple of misses because usually the target doesn't live that long.

As much as I'd like to think these mods are bugs...there not. And theres probably not much of a chance the devs will change this.

I like the fact that our better weapons are hard to use effectively without improving skills. I just wish the same could be said for ranged weapons. Or that we were at least as accurate as pistols in melee.
