Pikeman Archive

Hi, I am just over 1/2 way to Novice Pikeman as far as XP goes. I have Master Polearm. I was overlooking the Pikeman Advanced Skills and was curious to which ones to go for first. I am considering rotating between Stances and Defensive until they are both full, then going with the other 2. Stances to get AOE attacks, and Defensive for Knockdown. What do you all think? Which route are you taking?

Get Intermediate Defensive first for you can knock anything down and then hit it while you're down. Combo I used to do was polearmsweep1 polearmhit1 polearmhit1 and just repeat that til the enemy is dead (granted i was using a reinforced combat staff for this so my HAM didn't even really effect me til doing after 3-4 big game creatures). After getting Defensive Intermediate, then do all of Stances.

That is what I did and it appears to be working fabulously.

Your best bet is probably to pick up the polearmsweep1 first. Increase your accuracy some and then go all the way up the try in working on increasing your speed.
