Hey guys,

I'm heading for the Pikeman profession. Although I'm even far from being a Novice (I'm now at Polearm II), I was wondering if there are any players on Starsider with these skills, because the amount of BrawlersI have seen so faris nearly zero compared to people with ranged weapon skills.

Oh and knowing a weaponsmith which can craft polearm weapons would be of great help as well.

You know, you're the first Pikeman I've seen so far, do you have any tips/advices for me?

As far ask experience, I suggest doing missions you make good exp. while making credits, If you want to hunt though I would make sure your not only melee. Otherwise all attack's will be directed at you. Find a good Combat Staff is important make sure it's weaponsmith made not dropped. I would definetly focus on getting a good weapon before armor. Also purchasing a cheap CDEF rifle would be usefull to lure creatures. I strongly suggest doing one on one with creature's untill you get spin attack. Also when up yellows,white's, even red's it's good to stun attack once before, you start to attack this lowers the target's defense.

If your on Tatioone I can give you a good staff. I have a few at my home.

I can make some polearms and I can train some of the lower levels of Polearm as well. Now if I can just get in the game that'd be nice.

Missions are mostly weaker creatures..Hunting big stuff..ie Banthas, Rontos.

what do you mean with "when you're on a hunt though". What's the difference between hunting while doing a mission and hunting while not doing mission?

I can train, my in-game name is Equilibruim as well... Ryland is a little higher level than I... grrrrrr... I dont have as muich time to play as Id liek to however.
