I love the massive hit capability.

And have your artisan friend make a weapon repair kit and fix that Lance so that you can use it longer. Find a Master Melee Weapons crafter and get a Vibro Lance, if resources permit, that is.

I like how people always are, woh, what kind of sword is that? That's a big F-ing sword. I can't wait to carry around a Long Vibro Axe.

I don't want to be a TKA, if Pikeman got messed up or nerfed, I'd most likely go Two-Handed Melee or One -Handed. Those curved swords look cool.

I just don't like missing and then having a 6.1 attack spped to wait for. But I just got a Polearm Accuracy 3, skill enhancer so that should help.

Did I mention that I love Skill Enhancers?

Combat wise? No.

Also your going to have to pay to get everyone of your skills unless you find the 3 other pikemen on your sever to train you.

The only thing that is good is that you are different and hope that they make us better.

I enjoy it.. Am going to hit advanced defense soon.. I am in love with polearm sweep1.. In pvp it basicly comes down to iff i can pull it off before my opponent can knock me down.. Following sweep1 is hit2, hit1.. and normally that's the end.

After I get advanced defense I am moving on too stances so i can obtain +15 polearm speed in the advanced stances bracket.. I also plan to dump my combat exp into polearm support abbilities.. I could use the +accuracy..

and i'm going for Squad Leader as my hybrid prof., mostly for the leadership branch.

The ammount of exp needed for that is mind boggling. What have you been doing to raise it so fast? It took me over a week just to get one box over novice (175,000).

I have only fought on Tatooine, so that is about the only advice I can give. When you solo, fight the city NPC mobs of Valarian Swooper Leaders. When in groups, Tuskens. That is how I composed about 80% of my exp. I use to solo dewbacks, mountain squills, mountain worrts, etc, but Valarian Swooper Leaders and Tuskens are the best time spent/exp gained.

Does anyone have anything good to say about pikemen? I've been working my butt off getting xps and am now almost a Master Polearm? Am I wasting my time? Does anyone LIKE being a pikeman? What do you like about it? Or should I just go TKA?

I've enjoying being a pikeman. Finally making it to Master Polearm was pretty cool. The slow trek toward Novice Pikeman has been tolerable. I was lucky enough to get a lance (it seems like there's still a shortage of lances on the server), and my friend is an artisan, who give me an endless supply of melee powerups.

As the condition of my lance begins to decrease, I've gone back to using my reinforced staff more (trying to make the lance last until more are produced!).

well i have been playing long enough to get to my first skill above novice pikeman i have enjoyed being a pikeman. there is nothing loke getting jaw-droping stares when you hit over 2k because a marksman in your group was able to keep a target distracted long enough to wack a prone target with polearm hit 2.

yet i amalso i am uncertian about the future in this for me. for now my decision is to get master brawler and see what profession i enjoy the most in the end. with any luck i will come back to pikeman saying while others are good i like being a pikeman most.
