Just got Master Pikeman, average hit with Polearmhit3 is about 3k, and the animation is pretty cool also. The pikeman hits with both ends of the polearm (as usual), then hops up leading with his left knee and does a little slam down with the right side of the polearm (I hope you guys followed me on that terrible description). All I have to say is....woah.

Awesome, glad to hear it's worth it. I just have to pick up another 500k or so to finish up the offense tree and then I get to play with it too =)

How much is the HAM costcompared topolearmhit2 out of curiosity?

I got it at 1:45am last night, so I wasn't even paying attention, but I'll check when I get home.

How did you get so much XP, so fast? Do you group with others? I guess my problem is I solo, and the fact that Starsider's resources are messed up so no vibro weapons... Great Job on Master Pikeman though!

I use to solo a lot once I got sweep1, but the experience received per time put into it wasn't worth it at all, so I started going to Fort Tusken on Tatooine about 15-20 min north of Mos Espa. A large group is a necessity there though, and with a group of 10+ people, you will still pull in about 30k per 15 minute run (that was my experience which I was doing for about a week and a half straight).

I keep hearing about fort tusken.

Where is it located? Is it possible to solo or do i have to get a group?

I did the tusken village after I got novice pikeman. It's a smaller setting than the Fort but it sits just north of wayfar. If you clone at wayfar, death is never a problem, so it's a fairly safe place to grind up some XP.

Once I got a ways up the pikeman tree, tuskens stopped being worthwhile, so I moved to dathomir. There are missions on dathomir to kill a mob called a giant baz nitch. They have about 10k HAM, hit for 200ish, are not hostile, and other mobs don't assist when you attack them. This allows them to be killed fairly easily. I solo'd quite a lot of them, but grouping is usually faster XP. The missions to destroy their lairs are worth 10k credits a piece, so I loaded up on cash as well. I finished about 60% of the pikeman tree from XP gained on this planet in 3 days. If you don't mind grinding and have a decent group or can solo these things, you can come away with 500k-1mil XP and a 100k credits or so (depending on your group size) in a day depending on how long you can keep it up.

I went back to the tuskens tonight for fun, btw, and Polemarmhit3 is great fun for one-hit kills on raiders

Yes indeed it is fun Mad hitting Tuskens with 1-hit kills, but that was fun with polearmhit2 also. What is also fun is killing 3 Tusken Raiders with one polearmsweep2. Gotta love the polearm. So much fun.
