I have no reason to belive i have ever used it. Is there a problem with it?

What is the dealio?

well i have never seen that my character has blocked an attack. he has made blocking motions but in the combat window it just says that the enemy missed me not that i blocked. on top of that i thought block was a % skill so the 5 points you get at novice should mean 1 in 20 hits should be blocked but i see maybe 1 in 60 or so attacks miss me vs an even or lower com mob.

i guess i dont see any way of looking at this other than its broken

But when hey fix it my +35 to block will make a HUGE difference.....i will avoid 1/3 of the attacks i like those numbers.....now lets see how THEY like missing....BAH HAH HAH HAAAAAAaaaa

yeah when this gets fixed then it will make a huge difference. since this game is skill based and not lvl so we never get more ham and theres no uber armor this is the proper way to help our deffences. i would love to know what i could solo if 20% of attacks never hit me

I have reason to believe I have used it seeing as my charachter has done animations that seem to counteract an attack against me and I sustain no damage... heh and I only have intermediate defensive techniques.

I have never blocked all the way through master pikeman and after. This is definatly bugged.

i have blocked a few times, u should watch more carefully, your person will hold the polearm in front of them, with both hands, like a block, and it makes a very distinctive sound, and it says blah blah tries to hit you, but you block. or something like that, there is also evade, where your character will step to the side, and it will say you evade the attack.

whether or not it actually says "block" when you block an attack, you are still stopping damage. Isn't that enough?

Later on in the night that i made this post i fainaly saw him block. There was no +block+ thing. But i am positive thats what it was. He held the LVA long ways infront of him and it said that the enemy missed.
