Pikeman Archive

I would like to get an idea on what weapons I should get and what lvl's they should be. Any Info would be helpful.

As darkness falls, Night unfolds ebone wings and wraps the world in darkness. I am a Dark warrior of my world, where the sky's are shadowed from light and rain wash's away from the evidence. You see Glowing eyes in the dark night.........perhaps the last thing you may see.

Read the stickied posts on the front.. they'll give you the best info.

Go to the bazaar, and get a crappy wood staff. Sometimes you'll see a really nice one for sale for 100 cred, because someone didn't check it carefully, but it doesn't matter in the least... buy whatever, because you'll drop it in about 10 minutes anyway.

Also, pick up a Metal Staff. For under 3k, you can get some -very- nice ones. This will last you through Polearm 2, and maybe 3 depending on who you know.

Try to find a weaponsmith to make you a Lance. Once you actually achieve Polearm 2, you'll have the ability to use a Lance, and they're nice. +10ish range mods, not shabby damage, good speed, and the HAM costs aren't ridiculous yet. Keep using this through to Novice Pikeman (ignore the LVA for now).

Once you hit Novice, frankly... stick with the Lance, and pick up a Vibro Lance for the kinetic resistant monsters. Don't start using the Long Vibro Axe until you have your second box of Polearm Support.. that's your first accuracy mod.
