Thread: Question regarding armor weapon damage.

I don't think that damage effects weapons, but I do know it effects armor.
If you let your armor fall below something like 50%, or something, it starts to lose its efficiency.
Also, the more damaged a weapon or armor, the harder it is to repair the item. Don't let your items get too far gone.

Just wondering....
I have an LVA and a chest peice of comp armor that are starting to take a beating. (I've been doing a lot of killing)
LVA is below 50% and chest is 15000/35000
Does damage to these weapons / armour alter their effectiveness?
I recenly moved my char to Dath (sp? the planet with Baz Nitches) to kill and I noticed 2 things:
1) every once and a while I would get take a hit that didn't get absorbed by armor. Fot the most part on Tat I never saw that happen, even while tanking Kryats. The Kryats just hit me so much I would dirt-nap anyways.
2) my LVA is starting to suck.
I think #2 is 'cause mobs on Dath have higher kinetic resistance then tat. But I am hitting for a lot less.
re 1)I don't like getting hit.
Also I know the trade forum is probably a better place for this but it's a pain to sort through stuff on their so I'll ask this too.
Anybody know a good weaponsmith on Ahazi who keeps LVAs (sliced would be good) in stock?
I'm not looking for NS or Krayt powered up stuff. Just a good WS.
