Can someone help me with the optimal attack sequence, Meaning, what attacks would I use in what order to best defeat an enemy?

Pike doesn't have the "I win" button, you have to use your head and adapt to each situation. We can deal many different states and (more or less) target health and action pools. Constantly monitor your target and choose the attack that will hit the target's most depleted pool. Also remember to choose the right weapon, /examine your target (need scout skills) and look at their resists. We only do kinetic and electricity damage (unless you are a bazillionare and can get a Energy lance) so pick the one with the least resists.
