It's funny cause i've mastered pikeman yet every other pikeman i know knows more about the prof than me... Can someone please explain to me the basics of pikeman?...

4D - It's hard to run the "basics" by you other then saying you need to use a polearm. 
Read the FAQ to get a run down of the most commonly asked questions. You could also check out some of pikeman issues threads to get a feel for things.
If you have questions beyond that, post'em.

...What's a polearm?
I wanted to know like what foods to eat when i'm about to fight, what types of armor i should wear, what weapons i should use... where i can get skill tapes and stuff best for the proffession and what ones i should aim to get... stuff like that... i donno, i'm desperate

I'll help
1) Foods:
PvE: you should be fine with brandy, and canape when wearing armor (I hardly ever wear armor except on Dath or when hunting big game, don't nearly spend as much time there as other pikemen either)
PvP: synthsteak seems to work well and this takatillo (sp?) anti knockdown food is useful as well, I don't PvP much so someone elsemight know more
2) armor:
PvE: either 70% kineticUbese or 80% kineticcomp, I use composite because the other resists come in handy when doing the geo caves and stuff
PvP: I don't wear armor in PvP, it will only get degraded (I might have to train more ), but people seem to swear by stun resistant composite (too expensive for me anyways) and a stun resistantPSG (got one of those, but it interferes with my +5 speed belt)

Speed tapes lots of them, if you are master brawler as well you only need +9 - +11 total for 4.4 speed weapons
Accuracy tapes also work and may prove useful
4) Weapons:
I'm still using my best crafted damage slicedlong vibro axe(max dam 517), I have crappy luck looting anything other than crystals and a equally wellsliced craftedvibro lance (max dam 400 something).
Vibro lances are great for Droideka, in nearly all other cases I use my LVA.
I have on action poison lance to help me take down the bigger things and those pesky singing mountain clan arch-witches (100% resist vs electricity & kinetic)
My last important weapon is my UBER leet CDEF carbine for delivering the killing blow against said arch witch after I have bled her dry.(This tactic is suicide versus Elders, your mind buff will be gone by the time you have bled her dry)
