does the KD affect work as often as sweep 1? or does it stick less, but in return be able to KD multiple enemies at once?

(im a new pikeman BTW)

As far as I can tell, both are about equally matched in their ability to land a KD. Sweep 2 has the advantage of being able to area KD, but takes twice as long to do and only does 25% more damage. I generally stick with sweep1 when fighting only one enemy and it works perfectly well.

I keep 1 on top and 2 underneath it. If you're ever fighting mobs of humanoids like janta, area dizzy/kd is priceless.

ditto. Makes for great fun on NS sentries too. Can take out groups of them without armor
