Greetings Pike-persons!
I'm a Wookiee 2/0/4/2 Pikeman and am in need of some advice regarding my Stats. My focus is PvE presently (I may choose a side later on and PvP) and I'm wondering if anyone of you more experienced Pikers have sometips for me regarding where to set my stats.
I have not changed them at all, am usually buffed, with Brandy and wear Wookiee armor (as much help as that is).
If you have any recommendations I would truly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time!

Well, if you're buffed all the time you might as well max your mind. Wookiee mind stats aren't great, so throw all the points you can get into them. Since the devs seem determined to keep screwing us when it comes to armor, you'll need that mind to heal yourself
Health and action stats are pretty meaningless when buffed, so I'll just tell you what works for me:
health: 900
strength: 650 (min)
constitution: 450 (min)
action: 900
quickness: 400 (min)
stamina: 450
mind: 1100 (max)
focus: 650 (max)
willpower: 600 (max)
No matter what you do, your substats will all be close to those. We have tiny (100-200) ranges to work in with the substats, and with buffs they don't matter much anyway.

Thanks a bunch for the reply.
What if I don't have any Medic/Doctor skills to heal myself with? Would your advice still be the same regardless?

That's a tough one for me, since I've been a doctor almost as long as I've been a pikeman.
As long as you're buffed most of the time you're fighting, maxing mind is the way to go. With buffs and two shots of brandy, I typically have about 3200/3200/1900 HAM and rarely have to heal (unless fighting nightsisters or some other hard-hitting mobs). It leaves you in a somewhat dangerous situation if you have to fight without buffs and have no medic skills, though.
Ideally, for PvE you want to have your health be the strongest, action second and mind third, because you're going to get hit in the health pool the most and the mind pool the least. So migrating some points to health isn't necessarily a bad idea, even with buffs.
If you're on good terms with an ID, the ideal thing might be to stick everything about mid-range and tweak it from there to throw more points where you really need them.

No further replies are necessary.
Due to TH's recent updated information, the original announcement he made and the Blackman interviews I won't be sticking around to find out how shoddy they treat us in the future.
Take care Pikers!
