So how do you guys feel about these two changes?
1. NPC's using specials again.
2. Doc's getting poison/disease inoculations and area cures.

My take on things.
1. With NPC's using specials those looted weapons will get to be more rare and more costly.
2. To a large degree the doc's ability to mitigate the use of DOT's will devalue many of the most important weapons of choice for pikeman.
I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I think Doctor's getting resist buff's was a result of the CONSTANT complaining about DoT's "they suck, NER NERF NERF" "you can't use DoT in a due" I bet dev's got tired of hearing cries and basically nerfed them.

The poison resistance and doc cures will decrease the widespread usage of polearm DoTs somewhat, how much remains to be seen.
The Nightsisters being more difficult will mean less people selling 40 str disease lances for 500k on the trade forums.

Look at the resource requirements for some of the packs. Kinda a double strike if you ask me, we should see a signifigant increase in buff price, and only the most serious doctors will be able to actively collect the resources for the good innoculations. IMO this is no different then the foods that are offered by chefs.
Not to mention it stands as a CM nerf, not a pikeman nerf. CM's don't get fire dots, and you don't see every other pikeman walking around with a 1K poison lance either. Another divide, as people migrate into doc to be able to provide this on a PvP basis, you will see a lil less templating, and these docs are going to run ragged with the resources to make the innoculations even worth buying.
I'm glad, even though I swing these sticks, I've still been hit by CM shots, and a serious CM was game breaking.
Alot of the groups that you see which litteraly have 4 or more CM trained personnell will be reduced, one way or another damage needs to be done. And when that group with 4 CM's run across a protected group, people will switch up their templates.
With all the other combat professions it is safe to assume that if one thing doesn't work, something else needs to be done. With all my lances, I still drop, with out a rebuff I'm neigh useless. A CM however wouldn't have this problem, and can approach a situation with the same tactics as last, die, comeback and do it again. This is not a pikeman nerf if you ask me.
