Hi there,just a little background first.I am currently a Master Ranger/Pistoleer.I group with a Master Fencer alot and am finding that she can kill three creatures before I can even get one down half-way.To say the least this is very frusterateing.She suggested I should go melee,and that pike would be good.Right now I'm at polearm 2 in brawler.I know how to get XP,the bigger the creature the more the XP,why people have to keep asking that question is beyond me.So now on to my question...
I'm looking for some help with tactics.Only having polearm 2 at the moment I only have limited specials to use and was wondering what trap/special combos would be effective.I'm finding that sonic pulse and lunge1 can be somewhat effective (I use sonic pulse because the dizzy effect lasts twice as long as the L-dart) but the posture change is still a fairly rare occurence.Also how should I be approaching combat?What is a good opener?Should I lead with a trap,lunge?How often should I use specials?How should I be useing CoB,intimidate,and beserk?I can do a wookiee roar,is that better?
I know,I know,questions,questions,questions.But I do take what I do seriously and I like to be informed/prepared.Any help you guys can give me form the brawler tree up through the whole pikeman proffession will be greatly appreatiated.And I guess one last question,Pikeman is a good choice for PvE,right?

First of all un;ess something drastic has changed, you cannot dizzy/kd a non-NPC, they just getright back up even the 2-legged ones. If you cang et lunge to stick it has a 15-meter range so get them on their knees b4 they get to you then get withing YOUR striking range and beat them while they're kneeling as they cant hit back. As for moves you dont have many, just use them all depending on which pool you want to attack.
