Hi guys, just got me a looted LVA- its not great, only 480 max dam but still heaps loads better than anything else i have (slice and pup could make it pretty good i guess :smileyhappy
. only problem is its about 350/777 (or something equally as bad). my question is this - will it fall apart if i try and repair it? and if it will is their any point to me using it as is? (isn't the damage reduced when the condition is that bad?)

i wouldnt reapir it till less than 100/777 i always repair my weapons when they are under 5% it seems u get better repairs that eay.... and no you can repair looted weapons

There may be people on your server with Armour Repair + gear that could repair it for you if you are very worried, and the damage drop with condition begins when it gets to 25% condition or less so this is not quite there yet. But as long as you use some nice tools (near 100%) and cross your fingers you might get it repaird properly yourself.

if you were on sunrunner, i'd give you some LVAs just to help out your cause. funny thing is, when i started repairing weapons with 0 in weaponsmith, i haven't had one weapon fall apart on me until it was down to 200 condition.

I've repaired (or had repaired) one of my looted pikes 6 times now, the most recent repair was from 28/270...now it's 240/240. yay!
