Hello i was thinking on doing MR/MP and medic 1/0/0/0 i will probaly mostly pve i was wondering if anyody else has done this if so tell me how it was thanks-

I am a MR/MP and have medic. All your basic creatures are no problem to handle. Don't go out to dath taking large groups of NS on (especially not those with a stun baton when ya don't have stun armor haha 
)

I had a pike/ranger medic 0/2/0/0, Creatures no problem, mobs of NS, RUN AWAY. Pikeman can handle 3 Ns at most at a time, any more than that, you are dead, especialyl when you are so dizzy you lay on your back for 3 minutes without the ability to get up and you watch them wittle a full ham bar down to nothing and DB you, no fun. But you can tank a Canyon Krayt and come out on top, that is fun. I dropped ranger, cause i got bored with it quick. Now I am going Pike/swordsman./Medic 4/4/0/0 and scout 4/0/0/0, I get ALL that extra state defense and a Power Hammer for elders. I call it my Ns killer template, sucks for PvP, but I am an elite PvE'r.

If you are not a ranger, you should not say those things.
And I find that I can take about2 NS's at once, but I haven't been beefing my skill mods yet. I find it's an excellent template, traps complement melee professions well.If you are one who wants to do ranger, it's a fine template. I sure have fun. Maybe ranger/swords template is better but I say who cares.

master ranger + master pike is effective and fun...
fun because you can handle most of the big critters in the game, effective especially in groups, so you can track the pesky nightsisters... but true... be in a good group when hunting nightsisters... they hit hard.
the +15 melee/ ranged defense at master ranger is quite nice, but camo still isnt noticably better than maskscent.
I love being a ranger, unfortunately, sometimes being a ranger means you arent the best hunter...

I concur. It is a lotta fun. I'm currently Master Pike, Ranger 0032, Medic 2244. I took out a kimo by myself the other day. Took like 10mins I guess, but I got it. I routinely hunt high-end creatures with ease - took out a slinking voritor hunter lair (9 spawns) without even being buffed, just using Stim-D's. And I eat NS's for breakfast...I looted a 600 action fire lance from a Nightspider sister...one /polearmArea2 with that puppy, and anything near me is a burning mess, then i stick 'em with a bleed from/actionHit2, then let autoattack do the rest. My limit at the NS Forced Labor Camp is4 NS Sentries, the interior ones with the much higher resists.4 of those is certainly pushing it though (fully buffed of course). And 9 times out of 10, they never drop anything good. :-\ Good luck to ya mate.
