ok, time for some raw data.

I dueled a friend of mine today - she needed to be db'd to correct a bug with enhancing her.

She's a TKA 2/2/2/2. I'm a pikeman 0/1/3/3. She wasn't even trying, just doing the auto defend attack.

Shelanded 23 hits on me with more damage per hit, than the 3 hits I landed on her.

And I was trying. None of my specials landed. If I didn't call my graul mauler in, she would have killed me.

This is the pain a pikeman feels every battle.

I and a swordsman (1432 I believe... it was something like that) had a friendly duel on Dantooine... I'm sure most can figure how that turned out. I nearly killed him but he could do mind damage(so I couldn't heal myself), he could heal the damage I gave him, and our infamous accuracy stroke again! Well, I would have blamed it on the fact that he could heal his damage and I couldn't heal mine but I made an attack (and I had both his action and health down relatively low) so I couldn't really lose... well.... I missed. Oh well, once he healed, that was it. I couldn't heal my mind so I lost. Woopdido! Maybe I should have used my poison wooden staff (on auction; check the intrepid forum ) but then that wouldn't be very... er... friendly.

I should also include, I was fully buffed by a Doctor (her), and she was not buffed. She only has 200 health/stam, unbuffed.

That's how I was able to survive 23 hits at 57-70 pts of damage each hit. For simplicity, I'll say she averaged 60pts of damage/hit on me. Therefore, she hit me for 1380 in total. No special attacks, just normal combat mode.

I hit her 3 times. Once for 42, once for 48, and once for 43. I was able to inflict 133 points of damage in total. However, her natural heal rate took care of that. When I called in my pet, she was nearly full health still.

My graul mauler (Bubba) hit her once for 203.

Other useful info: My weapon's speed is 3.5, and it's accuracy modifiers are -37, -54, -54. (I have a point blank powerup on it). Also, in addition to my natural melee def, I wear bio clothes that give me +12 melee defense. Reviewing my log, she did not miss me once.

i took my new Hurton stalker out (baby) to fight a capper spineflap ... he get some hit , i try to help ... out of 10try , i couldnt take the spineflap out while he did the job alone (about 30dmg per hit)

My 2 best move are the sweep and the area attack (the novice one) ... their short so i can try lot more time than with polearm hit 2 who take so much (time and health) that i better hit or i die
