Hi,

New kid on the block, a holo ask me to do pikeman and hereI am.

Anyone here have any idea on how tosolo a pikeman?? What kind of creatures shouldI go for?? Any hints tips and ideas would be welcome.

Master Scout, Master Marksman, Bounty Hunter(2444), Master Pikeman(H1) ,Master Image Designer(H2), Master Squadleader(H3), Carbine(1312), Creature Handler(0100).

Some tips? Uh get a pet. After you try pikeman for two weeks, and you want to quit it. Go Ahead. We are so broke it's not funny.

Pick up doctor or CH. One of the two is a neccesary for being pikeman. Once you get the doctor and/or CH, go for big creatures. You can generally do good damage (if you can hit), and I FULLY recomend offering loads of money for people to sell you skill tapes for pikeman accuracy. YOU WILL NEED IT.

2nd person from Flurry who got pikeman from their holocron. First one mastered yesterday aand gave it up already lol.

2 necessities, pet and medic

hints don't be afraid to fight things that cone yellow or even red, you will usually do enough dammage to take them down. Remember ham is more important that color coning. If you're novice pike things with 1 or 2K hame shouldn't be too hard. If you have a few bars, things that are 2-4K ham are doable, if you have a good pet and decent med skills 4-6K are doable.

other hints:

don't spam specials and watch your ham bars even if your not getting hit.

If you miss three times in a row from your position, move to another place, behind creature, down hill from it, ect. Also step up to things that want to back away from you its easier to hit them while they are moving.

Our bleed shot is for action, only leg shot also targets action, so if you are not going to use leg shot, don't bother with the bleed.

Sweep is a great tool, use it to set up for a big hit, or to escape (sweep and run is great if you're getting beat on)

Stun will make things easier to hit.

Always examine things before attacking, LVA is your best frined, but a lot of things have high kenetic resistance.

Group when you can, you will be less likely to get hit and will still do more dammage than anyone else there and therefore rake in more XP on kills.

Thats about all I can think of now.
