The only profession played less than pikeman is guess!!!! A JEDI! There are more chefs than there are pikemen! Hello, maybe there is a problem here?!

tell you one thing... since pikeman is a real pain... unless buffed.... and you really can't start owning people till master... being a master i can say this... granted i did a lot of damage on the way...i can do even more now.... so its not like commando where you can get flame and be all set...

I think there is no problem.
IMHO the profession is -just- not that popular like others.
I think there are a few reasons for that Pikeman is not that spread round the Galaxy.
I must admit that it is the profession I like fewest. It was my Holocron that told me to master it *hrhr*.
Beside the reason that is is not that powerful like CH, for example, or not that instant-deadly like a BH, I always have something like 'Oh no, I am a knight ... ' Oo (about that) in my mind.
Or perhaps I do not like the profession because a person I do not really like is a Pikeman *lol*

Looking at the stats... I'm kind of honored! Being part of a rare profession is great! I'm going to be proud about the Master Pikeman Label. You don't find many.

You have no idea how hard I laughed when I saw that. I'm a pikeman/image designer. Maybe I should take up chef?

I took up Pikeman, leaving Commando. I felt it would be something different. So far I am 0,0,1,2 in to it. I like the moves alot. Pikeman as the second to last profession on the list doesnt surprise me. It is the most challenging and the most patience required skill (hit/miss ratio). But alas, I have faith, and commitment that better things are ahead. I am also working on Master Doctor - 1,1,2,2 and that is a chore as well. No, a holocron didn't tell me to take it. I personally have no interest in becoming a Jedi, and if it happens, it happens. It just better be a nomad that approches me as I am wandering out in the middle of freaking nowhere to tell me. What I would like to see is perhaps one more weapon. My thoughts would be a pole with a ball and chain. The character could sweep emenies with. Scout trapping would be a must. Perhaps that might give us some range for crying out loud....

If it makes you feel any better... even though Bounty Hunter is the third most popular Novice non-starting profession.... it's got less Masters than Pikeman.

That's right.. Master Pikeman > Master Bounty Hunter.... or at least that was true when Holo ranked 'em without giving numbers...

Well Match, that's (obviously) becauseof investigation line is hellacious. Arguably the hardest tree in SWG to master. I feel for you on that one.

Unless I misread the list, if you carefully look at the numbers you will notice that jedi have 0%. The class is listed last, but technically there is noone in it. And as we all know, if everyone could choose to become a jedi, it would be number one by far. So to put it simply, we are still the rarest class. Even with all the people that have become pikemen to appease their demanding holocrons...
