does anyone know how to use a clothing attachment in a backpack. I have tried numerous method and the tape always just stores in the pack. I cant get the mods to stick and its kinda frusterating. My pack has 4 open sockets too.

Anyone got any ideas?

For a brief period of time you could fill your backpack to the limit, then try and attach it, but I don't think that works anymore.

back in the olden days backpack sockets were used to attach cargo pouches. you could increase your capacity by 20 for each pouch. of course some cool dudes found a way to exploit it and get tons of storage space and the ability was thus removed. sockets do nothing on packs and cargo pouches still drop but its all a big pike-tease.

heh I was one of those "exploiters". put a few satchels and cargo pockets into my pack to keep things sorted. Found that i could fill 4 of them to the brim, equaling 10 more than the backpack should allow, not including the pockets themselves. filled the pack up with them, had like 1000 inventory space

. Too bad it got fixed and I was stuck with 1000 items and no place to put them. luckily, most were trash anywho, this is back in july, when this game was fun. truthfully, it's not an exploit if the devs are too stupid to realize what kind of stuff you can do. simply you beating out the system and having a little more fun while doing it, which is what video GAMES are all about anyways. ban me if you like, you'll do me a favor and give me back my social life
