Yeah the spellweavers drop fast due to only being 5% to kinetic ,and your LVA negates the medium armour.

yeah, well not every pikeman has an uber NS lance. since sole pikeman have an extremely hard time killing stuff that drops it on a regular basis.....

oh, guess i'll have to go master tk or fencer to get a lance for my PIKEMAN

So my point to this diddy, i spent 3 hours killing ns as a pikeman..... so for all of u out there that be-rate pikeman ur nuts. Im loving it and i must say some of the animations are cool not to mention that sweep 2 is handy in the geno lab, hell anywhere where u are surrounded. And with the corvette having a majority of enemies weak to electricty and same with the up coming death watch bunker i might just have to keep pikeman.

A Master Pikeman can solo anything at master, that isn't 100% resistant to either kinetic or electricty. So when it comes to nightsisters (in their broken state), that is all but the Elders and what's her name. The only problem with the looted lances are actually getting a good one to drop, not being able to kill a NS in the first place.

Yes...with a standed crafted LVA or VL. Just get some good armour like every other profession needs.

And to add to this, if you take a glance at the melee defense calculations you can see that Pikeman is by far the worst tanking profession. Now, if an LVA came standard at 800 max damage we wouldn't have much to complain about, because then at least our offense would offset our defense, but since we are also probably the worst damage outputting class, Pikemen truly are the worst off.

We may have better area attacks then a fencer or TKM (I'm not even sure on the validity of this statement), but since we take far more damage in melee you simply can not tank as many creatures as these classes can.

Think that was probably an attack of fat finger syndrome and he presed 1 and 2 at the same time , they are indeed 25k not 125k.
