Thread: what are normal stats for a vibro lance?

i looted this and was wondering if it was above average.
AP:light
Speed: 5.8
Damage: electric
min 123
max 454
range mods: -24 @ 0
-24 @ 3
-24 @ 5
wound: 50.4%
ham: 37

That might be below average. My backup VL is looted (along with every lance I own/use since they've got lower HAM and better stats than the player-made ones so far), and its at 3.9speed 485 max damage. My main lance is a vibro lance with 3.9 speed and 990 max damage (neither of my lances have powerups). The speed is gross on that, but if its unsliced, a good speed slice on there would make it a good grind/PvE weapon to use. Wait until you find/loot yourself a 700+ damage 4.0- speedlance, they're fun to use

We really need to stop thinking of "normal" in terms of looted equipment...telling someone that it's trash because they should wait until they loot a 900 damage weapon isn't the way to play a profession, I think.
Your VL is above average damage, below average speed, and better-than-average HAM costs - where average is a good player-made VL.

Which is why I said if its unsliced its good. All my vibro lances are 3.9 speed, crappily looted and player made ones alike. Keep killing nightsisters and you'll havea good collection of 'em, someone said tuesday they get force powers back so who knows, maybe they'll un-bork all their loot.

The norm for LVA's seems to be at 3.5 and VL's at 3.9 - this is what 90% of my pike inventory is, with different slices on all. Maybe they're just set on being at that speed for me forever...
