Thread: New Pikeman needs Advise...

I got bored with TKM and decied to try pikeman,but one thing I have noticed is that even with no armor on at all HAM cost for specails are really high.What weapon will help keep HAM cost down?I feel that Im healing myself more than I'am fighting.Any help is welcome.

It all depends on how the weapon was crafted, HAM costs are determained then, its a trade of between Damage, Speed & HAM cost's I think. There are good LVA's out there with great Damage and HAM costs, just gotta keep looking.
TBH tho, this is the way it should be, else you would be able to spam specials untill the "Cow's Come Home".

I find that looted pikes (LVAs and VLs) has much lower ham costs, so find yourself one on vendors or bazaar with a speed slice to level up with, I used a 2.1 speed sliced 60-220 looted vibrolance to level up with.
If you think pikes costs alot per specials you should see the cost of my adv stocked/scoped/muzzled Elite carbine on my carbineer/ranger toon- it costs me a total of -274 ham per special and if I spam that 3 times and get hit once I incap.
