One of the problems is everything that drops a good lance is nearly 100% immune to the damage types we do. Sure we can buy one for millions (for the few who haven't always been pikemen) but getting a good one on our own is pretty difficult indeed.

One would imagine that the DoTs would be balanced along with the rest of the numbers as well. Plus, there will be changes to the importance placed on mind damage, extra ways to resist poisons and diseases.

We'll just have to see.

Pikeman have some of the best dot weapons there is(NS lances), Now, after the combat balance, wont pikeman be a bit overpowered? DoT polearms are far easier to get than any other dot weapon, so it seems the pikeman would then rule PVP with its extreme dot weapons.

Hard to imagine pikeman overpowered yes?

I think the devs will screw up unless, we as the mighty pikemen unite and get on TC (and the CB Sandbox for those who get to) and get things on the right track!

PUB 9 introduces the weapon switch rule. Weapon weitcinh now take sup 1 combat round. Or so Ive heard.
