Thread: High Damage LVA's (a question)

I keep reading about these very high damage LVA's (i.e. 1K+). Are these looted LVA's or is there a way that a weaponsmith could craft one of these for me? I grind with a low level LVA (150-500), which I thought was decent. As a side question, I am currently a 4023 Pike with a speed of +70, should I continue to use my 3.5 LVA or switch to my 2.7 VL? (or just use them situationally?)

High damage LVA's are either looted, or are "pre-patch". Weponsmiths used to be able to make LVA's upwards of 900 damage, but we got semi-nerfed.
At Master Stances, you should switch depending on the MOB's resists. If its lower Kinetic resists, use the LVA, if its lower Electric resists, use the Vibro Lance.

When was this? I admittedly wasn't a pikeman right at the very start, but the only "pre-patch" differences I was aware of are the old -55 accuracy LVAs.

Weaponmiths NEVER made ANY pike over 450 damage crafted. I dont know what you're talking about honestly =-/.
