Thread: Nightsister Energy Lance Story

So there I was at the local super store packed with like 20+ venders. It's the weekend. I'm not doing anything in particular or looking for something specific. I was just killing 20 or so minutes before it's time to eat.
I figured I'd check out the weapons because I'm always on the lookout for a high damage looted LVA or VL. And all of the sudden ... there it is: a Nightsister Energy Lance for 10 million credits.
::Rayner starts to twitch::
Under normal conditions, I'd just drool and move on because I never have that sort of wealth. The thing is, the last month or so has been good to me. (2nd character has a pretty successful DE business + a few friends have left SWG and dropped serious credits on me)
I said to myself ... I've been a pikeman for a good long while. It's ok to throw down the cash since it's for pikeman. So I take a gulp and buy it. Excited, I walk out of the store to get in the light and take a screen shot. Poof, it's gone from the inventory!
::Rayner mutters and logs out for 20 minutes::
So far, I'm enjoying it. (except for being slightly devistated that I spent so many credits) I haven't actually done anything hardcore with it as of yet. The only thing that slightly bothers me is that I sort of feel like a cheese because I purchased it and didn't go out and loot the schematic and units myself.
Anyway, felt like sharing :-)

10 mill is a pretty good price for one i'd say. I wish the vibro lance had the lil effects on the ends of it like the NSEL

I only need 1.5mill more to buy the one I have my eye on..... can't wait to..... hang it on my wall

I've got 4 NSEL's I'm selling at 6mil each, apparently 6mil is an outrageous price for them on Bloodfin, the most overinflated economy ever

lol i spent about 1-2mil on mine....
bought 5 vibro motors for 500k this was before some guy knew that they were for NSELs and for enhancing weapons.
then later i managed to annoy a weaponsmith so much he let me use one of his uses in exchange for some loot i have and probably will never use. (about 2-3mils worth or something).
but that did take me about 7 months to do that......

I have made 7 of them so far. Had to get swordsman and rifleman to get the loot though.
I have given 2 of them away to people that I know have never gotten one and where always Die hard pikeman.
Cool item, never understood why it isn't AP2 though.
