Ok hello everyone. I just pulled my holo. It said master doctor. i am currently master SL/ master rifleman/master marksman.

Do any of you think if i drop my combat skills master doc and master SL will be a good combo ?

Siince both are support roles.

Just seeing what other people think.

No you cannot simultaneously master both, but almost. But I've been playing a hybrid of SLand Doc (with revive and best buffs) for a few weeks now, I've also tweaked things around to try out combat medic as well. At any rate I've found I've had a lot of fun with this build, I don't even carry a gun anymore, especially picking up random groups of various skill levels (read: non-elite types that happen to die a lot).

To get up Medic quickly go up the pharm line first (by healing peeps in the field or dancers in the cantina so you can use Wound Pack C's which give more xp bang for the heal). If you can afford it you can buy all your healing supplies and give heals away, if you can't you'll have to be a little more forceful in extracting tips. Also, the crafting can be extremely tedious if you've never done it before. If you're short on funds try to craft your own meds and kill two birds with one stone, but if you have the cash and just want to power thru, use a macro (see medic boards) and practice mode (no finished item to destroy). A good setup is to always be crafting in your downtime (shuttles, cantina, med center, /following group mates on long hikes), keep yourself occupied with other tasks or the sheer grind will drive you nuts.

Also, and this is key get a good med droid (110 Med) and lot of droid batteries. With this bot in tow you can heal wounds in the field and in the city (hehe, I liked to camp busy (Coronet)starports and heal peoples wounds as they zone in, they liked it too , butbe wary of TEFs from this)

Once you getto doc, to go upquickly, I'd suggest keep healing wounds andaimfor 0,2,3,0 first (allows you to use the best buffs (can get up to 1000xp per buff if you use the best stuff), which you'll need to buy from other Master Docs, but you can resell for profit). Then goto 0,4,3,0 to get revives and then lead some groups on massive hunting trips and tell them to throw caution to the wind (if you're constantly reviving fallen peeps (about 800xp per) they'll need new buffs. Again the crafting will be hellatious, if you want to craft what you use here godspeed, but it'll be 10x faster if you buy your supplies and just practice mode grind it up.

Thata's what I did to get master doc, and the whole experience wasn't cheap, but it was a fun ride, gave me a new goal to shoot for. Now I'm giving up skills as needed to freeup room so I can finally master SL.

(and hint hint to anyone reading this far. With Doc 0,4,3,0 and Squad Leader, I can ask for and get the reigns to 99% of any random group I join, especially at the fort or the caves. Plus if you keep em healthy your retention and thus xp rates sky rocket. I'm getting 4x what I used to get at the fort under this new formula )
