Thread: Master doc / pikeman solo anything or even small group anything?

Could a Mdoc Mpike solo anything like krayts ns elders etc if i got speed caps etc and what attachments do work?
Also if not what would be a reccomended small group?

Working attachments for pikeman are block, polearm accuracy, and polearm speed. My template is doc 4440, fencer 0200, master pike, and combat prowess 0004. With master doc/pike the defenses are pretty low 
. Also, you couldn't take a NS elder with pikes :/ 100% to kinetic and electricity. Unless you wanna waste a 15 million credit nightsister energy lance on her for about 2 hours

I just wanted to know what would be better pvp and pve, i can afford high end equippment etc so...

Actually, pikeman's damage output is higher than tkm if you are speed capped. tkm has light AP kinetic while we have medium AP kinetic and light AP electricity. Our LVAs can get up to 1,100+ (one on our server is 2k max dmg). The only difference is the toughness i'd say.

Yea, the only real issue with pikeman is the toughness (block only reducing damage 50% doesn't help either). When I would fight NSs as a TKM I could tank whole groups without worry, as a pikeman if I try to take more than 2 or 3 at once I can get in trouble real fast.

I have to disagree. As pikeman i can kill way more ns than as tkm. I can take out much larger groups but as tkm i could usually only do about 1 at a time or so.

It's the NS Elders that are the kicker. The only brand of Nightsister that runs around taunting us with100% resist to kinetic and electricity. All other NS go down superfast with Pikes.
TKM wouldn't help there, either.
Haven't tried Krayts.
Solo just about everything else, and solo them 3 or 4 at time (or 12 at a time if they're a wilderness spawn of Imperial Stormtroopers), since you're area attacking and KDing, self healing and state curing: anti-dizzy, anti-disease (been to Lok lately?)and anti-poisons... anti-fire burn blankets for PvP...
Also, Pikeman DoTs. Much maligned, but that's just because it's so dang effective.

Not saying I could kill faster as TKM, was saying I could take a lot more punishment before I was in trouble. I definatly kill faster with Pike, Im just easier to kill as well

YOu can solo just abotu everything. Including Ancient Krayts. just make sureyou have mind buffs and some arhisa. Stay away from Spiderclan elders and Nightsister Elders. Other than that, you have free reign of any mob on th eserver.
