Thread: Posture Change Attacks and Pets

Greetings all. I now understand that once you've caused a posture change down, using the same attack could result in the MOB getting up. I've got a couple of questions about this:

1. Does this count if the same character uses different posture down attacks? Let's say one is a Pikeman anda TKA. If you induce posture down with a pike attack, and then go unarmed and use a posture change attack with your fists or VN, will this cause the MOB to stand?

2. How about multiple players? If I'm hunting stormies with a TMK friend, and I use sweep and knock down a stormie, and a bit later my TKM pal hits with a posture change attack, will it cause the stormie to get up?

3. Same question as #2 but with my own pets. I've got a pet with knockdown as one of the specials (which sometimes works -- rarely, but sometimes). If I use a posture change attack, and knock a MOB down, and the pet then hits with it's posture change attack at my command, will that cause the MOB to stand back up?

4. How does using a dizzy attack (area dizzy) relate to this? I've created a macro that is area (dizzy), sweep 2. When the target is down, I then use polearm 2 rather than polearm 3 since the latter is a posture change. If the target is down but not dizzy, can I separately use the dizzy attack over and over until the target is dizzy, or if I'm fighting a group of MOBS since it's an area attack, or will the dizzy attack also induce posture change in and of itself?

Thanks, and again, sorry for all the stupid questions. The answers I got last week have really made a huge difference. I was at Fort Tusken over the weekend dealing out serious knockdown action. Thanks to everyone for their advice.

1. Yes, any posture change will cause the mob to stand.
2. Yes again. Any player hitting a KD'd target with a posture change will cause it to rise, even if they didn't knock it down themself.
3. Never tested, but I would assume so.
4. The dizzy attack itself won't cause a posture change, so it's safe to use while the mob is already knocked down. I routinely use area2 after sweeping down a group.
