My fellow Pikeman ...
I write to you today with a serious concern about our forum community. Specifically, the term "gun monkey" used to be quite often when speaking of those who weld a ranged weapon. Over the last year, it seems the phrase is hardly, if ever, used.
We must not waiver in our distinction between those who weld the mighty Pike and the gun monkeys. It is we who stand toe to toe with the enemy. We protect the gun monkeys from harm so that they may stand at a safe distance and play with their toys.
As a side, please remember to take good care of your gun monkeys. They must be properly groomed and given shots every 3 to 6 months. I think we can all agree that no likes a dirty gun monkey.

Usually I put my ranged monkies in my back pocket during fighting and let them shoot out the pee-hole in my composite armor - that way they are safe from harm and I get my nuts warmed.

I usually do an area attack and kill my monkeys and their targets.
