Thread: nOOb question from a Blue Frog TC Master...

OK, as we all know, this weekend on TC there are "Blue Frog" character builders...
so I log on and build a Master Pikeman/Master Rifleman/Scout Explorer/TKA Meditate since I've wanted to try something other than the Master Ranger/Master Rifleman I play on Intrepid.
I went out to Fort Tusken and cleared the place, went to Dath and solo'd an Ancient Bull Rancor along with a few SMC Dragoons and countless Escaped NS slaves. Rarely used Rifleman, mostly Pikeman skills.
Now onto my question..
I was fully buffed and armored in composite and after about 2-3/4 hrs I had a BF of 250!
Since I mostly play a Ranged Character, I was wondering if it was normal to incur so much BF during a buff session?

Yes, all melee's tend to rack up the BF much, much faster than ranged. When in the cantina, loog for a full group of musicians and listen to them, it will clear up that BF very, very fast.

oh, and remember with masterp pikeman your tanking skills will be limited as on live you cant get 90% armor very easily...............

While all melee certainly get a lot more BF than ranged classes, pikemen tend to get more BF than the other melee classes. It's largely because you can get wounds and BF even on a successful block, but not with dodges or counterattacks.
