yes, it is good to take pikeman. . . .

the pike you wanna use will be firstlya high damage LVA , then a high damage VL, but that is if you are speedcapped. . . . if you are not, get enough speed or a speed sliced LVA and you will be able to do a bit of damage................

I agree with Vaca, get a good LVA and VL. I personally use the VL more than my LVA due to most things I hunt with my guild have high kinetic resists. But for those critters that don't, LOL, the LVA chews thru them like a chainsaw.
