how is it that while using polearms you end up with +75 and with swordsman you end up with +75? have u ever tried swinginga giant metal hammer?! it doesnt make sence that a HUGE hammer wit 5.8 speed hammer is = as fast as a stick of wood!? it just doesnt make sence that we dont have more speed skills then other proffessions (such as swordsman)that should be much slower.

/agree....I think swordsman should not be able to speed cap even with tapes (when using a power hammer)...it's too good.

I dont think so, if you're trained well in your profession you can move a cumbersome weapon with ease.

Have you ever shot a rifle at full sprint from acual 64m and hit your target? Of course not, this is not reality.

Wow...I can't believe I have to break this down. Ok...Hammers...the max speed i have is 5.9 Acklay. Pikeman Weapons...6.5 Looted LVA. Think about this...which would be harder to speed cap and control. A hammer with all of its weight on one end. or a 6 and a half foot long rod of metal with a motor at one end and a giant blade at the other. I think the speed cap on both professions is appropriate.

And you're suggesting this is done easily in the game? Try doing this against a stacked Fencer..you won't hit nearly as often as you should...even at decent range. Rifle accuracy while moving is abysmal.

Oh...and IRL...64 meters is child's play

ok, so lemme think, they get slower speed b/cause their weapon is smaller, BUT they can do more damage?? seems kinda unbalanced to me. . . . .

hammer = 5.9 - Hit 3 x4 damage

Pike = 6.5- Hit 3 x 3.5 damage?? perfectly even. . . . ..

and btw, having a motor on one end, and a blade on one end. . . wouldnt a master weaponsmith have the foresight to balance the weapon for fighting? as opposed to a stick with a cinder block on it?

Vibro weapons are supposed to be faster and quicker to use since the motors are to increase damage as well as ease of use. We should have faster weapons than some 30 pound chunk of metal on a stick. It's sad that the most artistic and graceful melee class gets shafted. I bet if more Devs played as a pikeman, we'd get some serious fixes and consideations.

No kidding....try shooting for 500m in the prone position. Thats hard enough IMO.

Heck 200m standing, sitting, running, jumping, kneeling...now that's easy. 64m really is childs play IRL.

Lol, great thread so far . Its not just shooting them in the head at a full sprint, but how about shooting them in the head at a full sprint while running the other way and looking over your shoulder and being hit with bullets yourself?!

Really? I didnt know headshooting something in real life in full sprint was childs play, you have to show me how you do it some time.

Ohh, you're talking about automatic and burst shot rifles? Oh yeah then you're bound to hit the target.

Either Burst or Single Fire....both can be done. The problem with burst is when your moving its much harder to hit what your aiming for. Single Fire, its still hard, but you have much more control. Again though, it really depends on how much you practice. Some people can't shoot the broad side of a barn....some people can hit a fly falling off a mountain.
