In order to hit at cap, I need a total of +95 speed correct?

you cap at 100, but any pike can be capped at 95


i think only a legendary pike weapons will require a 100 cap

Most legendary weapons are pretty quick, actually.

At 100 speed you cap with everything, period. Because of the way the equation works, 100 speed = infinitely fast = cap no matter what.

In practice, 95 or higher is more than enough.
