Thread: What makes a great pike?

There is such a range of stats on any and all weapons, and sometimes I find myself not entirely sure which of my pikes I should be using. What is it for you that makes a pike great as opposed to just good? When buying, what kind of stats do you look for ? What counts as ok, and what counts as terrible?
Any and all comments on this welcome.

If you're looking for a DoT, above 300st, 200dur, 90%pote, 6k uses mind fire is *great*. If you're looking for damage, it depends on the use you have for it. If for PvE 750-800 is great, if for hunting jedi I would say 850-900+ is great...Just depends on the use you have for it.

aye, all depends on your play style. I have a wonderful 2.9spd 768dmg lva...no special dots or anything on it but that baby cuts through NS / Mountain girls / Rancors / whatever i feel like PvE'n for the most part..cept those nasty 100% resist buggers! 
My style is high dmg and forget the rest as i only PvE...unless it has an insanely slow speed...but hey the choice is yours

most Master pikeman have enuff speed to cap. so damage is all they want
one on my server jsut hit trade
299 min
1100 max. . .
was 6.5 but he broke down and got it sliced to b9 
and its still going for almsot 30 million. . . .im so p00r

Ok, now I have a better idea of the kind of weapon I should be looking for. Thanks for all the tips
