I recent purchased along vibro axe and i am debating on wether or not to get a vibro lance, when i finnaly accrue enough xp, because atm my long vibro axe is better than any vibro lance i have seen. Unsliced stats are 82-328 4.9 attack speed 38.29 wound chance, the insane ham cost 85 49 26. I am not sure when i get certified for vibro lance wether or not i will even get one.

Plus i traveled to Naboo to get thislong vibro axehad to wait 2 days and paid 20k for it. I am just wondering if you guys this a vibro lance that does 60-256 and 4.5 attack speed, with less wound chance and a smaller ham cost. Is worth getting?!

Your better off with the vibro lance till your about halfway to Master Pikeman. By then you'll swing fast and miss a little bit less. (you'll still miss alot )

The extra damage may not be worth the difficutly of hitting. My vibro lance doesn't give me too much trouble but anymore penalties and i'll be screwed silly.

Ya in reality the certs for vibro lance and vibro axe should be switched around. The range penatlys on the vibro axe are worse then the ones on the vibro lance. If you compare the weapons the long vibro axe should be a better weapon when you can use it so why would our next cert be for a lesser weapon? This even shows up in the weaponsmith crafting tree. Long vibro axe requires a master, vibro lance is master melee.

Yeah the to hit modifers are so disgustingly high, that i only hit like half the time. Plus the ham cost, man way to **edit** high. I cant wait till all the resources show up on chilastra.

what are the effective ranges for the weapons? I don't know how to find/figure out what they are.

OK I am now in possession of a lance, a long vibro axe, and a vibro lance, all made by master or near master weaponsmiths, and as far as I can tell the lance is the best weapon of the three. Possibly at very high level when the -58 to hit becomes less significant the axe might give the plain lance a run for its money, but I can't imagine ever using the vibro lance.

Seems like Chilastra is the server to be on for melee weapons.

How bad are the HAMs on the Vibrolance? I know the Vibro Axe has horrible ones, and the Lance is bearable...but I'm looking at having a Vibrolance made and I don't wanna waste the smiths time and resources if it's horrible.

We should petitiom to get a better selection of polearms with different effects depending on the type of head on it. Here are some examples: http://www.deepeeka.com/swords/spears/polearms.htm

Odano Akkori
First Mayor of Tempest
Jaxian Bay
Elder DE, Rifleman, Swordsman

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?
