Metal staffs are complete crap. I wouldn't even waste your time with it.

ok, i waswondering, has anyone purchased the metal staff, for rebel faction perk?,

also is it the same metal staff that i can get for 50 credits on a bazarr?, or is it worth every freakin bit of the 1000 faction points?,if it is worth it, can somone please tell me what kind of perks come with it? thanks

whoa there......i never said it was worth 1000 Faction Points.....

when you said he shouldn't even waste his time with it, I thought you were refering to the metal staff in general. I was just expressing that I thought it was a good weapon.

It isn't WORTH very much at all though.......

not becouse they are not worth money so much as they are not hard to come by. I got mine off the body of an NPC and have found several since then.....

I highly doubt the one from the rebles is any better.....maybe a little.....but probably not segnificantly

again, I wasn't even adressing the issue of the 1000 Fp. I am not even involved with factions and have no idea how much1000 is even worth.....

I was just saying that i thought it was a good weapon, becouse your post led me to belive that you thought it was not.

I disagree. Metal staffs are not complete crap, IF you are Lvl. 2 polearm. The metal Staff is far better than the wooden and basic reinforced combat staff......currently i use a reinforced combat staff that is much better than the normal one, but i don't know why it is. I got it from some a guy named Kluya the week the game came out and haven't really found anything better since.

I also have a lance wich is argueably better....or worse....i still don't know....

decent damage.....but wretched speed........if i can get the speed sliced down i will likely use it as my regular weapon.....

I also havea vibro lance, but I am letting Kluya borrow it till I get about 75,000 more Exp and become novice Pikeman.

I looked at it though and it also has wretched speed and HAM costs.....so.....so far I don't feel satisfied with anything other than my Reinforced combat Staff......wich could do more damage.

ArkMind, how can you justify spending your time getting 1000 faction points to get a metal staff? Just pick up a regular combat staff made by a PC and it should have 50-100 ish damage in the low to mid 4s for speed, that is more than enough, and shouldn't cost you more than 500 credits. I don't see how one could justify spending the time to get 1000 points to get a f'n metal staff though = \

well unfortuantly i know i cant spell, but anyways unfortunatly, i did, spend 1000 faction on it, boy oh boy, why would they make a 50 credit peice of crap out to be somthing worth 1000 faction points, waste of time,.....however i did find what im looking for, in a lance a guy sold me, i get 235 max damage and im almost a novice pikeman wich means im still at polearm 1, however im excited about the next lvl, because right now, i am killin yellows easily, and wiping out whites in one hit, i am hitting at about 850 damage with polearm 1, so i cant wait, and no dont buy the metal lance!!!!!
