can anybody tell me how these two "ratings" work? I always thought that a weapon's speed was the amount of time between an attack. Does the polearm speed augment this, or is it doing something else? which is better to work on. If I get a 3.5 weapon speed or lower, should I worry much about my polearm speed bonus?

All I know is my pikeman swing a LOT faster than once every 4.6 seconds.

I think the speed rating isthe unmodified time in seconds, then the +s to polearm speed speed it up by some percentage.
