Thread: MELEE MADNESS TOURNAMENT SEPT 28 READ HERE FOR DETAILS
Time to test your Melee Skills against the best.....

MELEE MADNESS
Sunday September 28th 3pm at the EIS guildhall (location subject to change) near Bela Vistal the best Melee fighters across the galaxy will meet together and duel to find out who is the best
Entry Fee: 20k subject to be raised or lowered pending opinion
VIP tickets: 5k
Grand Prize:500k Credits *If 32 entrants as planned*and finely crafted weapons by Evisao-the finest weaponsmith in the Galaxy for each of the best fighter in each category
Characters allowed: any melee based character This includes Pikeman, Teras Kasi, Fencer, Heavy Swordsman of ANY faction (While EIS is imperial we like to promote fun amongst everyone and will welcome COVERT rebels... nobody declared rebel or imperial will be welcome to this event) This also includes Jedi if any are around by that time they may come and use their lightsabre although force powers are not welcome
Code of Conduct:
#1 No Guns allowed. This is a Melee tournament, anyone with a gun out will immediately be disqualified or ejected from the tournament site
#2 You will bring you own medic, none will be provided for you as each match will proceed approximately 5 minutes after the last one has concluded... so yes you will get wounded and have to heal it... I will however attempt to get a dancer or musician to help with BF and Mind wounds if they happen
#3 Be courteous of everyone you are melee who (i hope) act in a dignified manner... trashtalking and the fans yelling out cheers for their favourites is acceptable to a degree as long as its in good taste... although im sincerely hoping that we can all conduct ourselves in a good manner, any person that i feel is violating this will be ejected from the tournament.
Rules of fighting:
#1 Buffs and Drugs will not be allowed since there is no way to mediate this... Judges will be on hand to ensure nobody has a really high ham bar or is not losing any ham when performing special moves
#2 Heals during match will not be allowed since it gives a completely unfair advantage to those with medic abilities... after match though by all means heal yourself as much as you can, anybody violating this *I believe its quite obvious when someone heals* that they will be immediately disqualified from battle this also includes bleeding and what not... It will speed up the game as well of course... (I know some may have issues with this however I think its unreal to be able to say "Oh im going to heal myself or stop bleeding please dont cut my head off") and yes im almost Master Medic so I lose by saying no to heals during battle... At any rate, i will attempt to provide the tourney with Medics and Entertainers... but under no cirumstances shall you expect to get any healing from them... I would like it if you can bring your own medic, like a trainer almost like Mickey in Rocky. You get the idea.
#3 No Deathblows... unless agreed upon by both combatants at the beginning of battle... anyone violating this will be disqualified... Im hoping the final can be a match to the death but at any rate...
#4 No using other skills from different professions to aid your fight... such as Poison attack etc... Cant think of anymore so let me know if you can think of some i may have missed
Entry requirements: That you contact Decko Diablo via in game email ASAP as the number of entrants will be very small (32 Max - hopefully 8 from each class) and provide entry fee IMMEDIATELY upon request of it. Same with tickets... to avoid lag as much as possible im not allowing many tickets to go out.
