Pikeman Archive

The Vibro Lance is the only weapon we certify for when we become a Pikemen. Why is that no Pikemen use andvery fewWeaponsmith's even bother to make the Vibro Lance?

I use a Vibro Lance and wouldn't trade it for a LVA at all. It's far superior for PvE (I don't PvP at all).

a good player made VL can be comperable in damage to a LVA and the option to do kinetic or electric damage is good IMO. I use both. as master pikeman even my lva with 4.4 speed hits every second and with accuracy mods I seldom miss like i did in the early pike tree.

I have however been using knucklers and hit twice in one second before, I thought there was a speed cap...

Ya, the LVA both sucks and is good. From my experiance, I wouldn't use it till you reach master, but it can be pretty handy even if you aren't. The VL is much better suited for all around fighting.

Try to stay positive. I know it can be hard with all the changes and bugs with our class

lol, sorry I meant to say that VL is supposed to be used up till you get close to master because the LVA is hard to stomach sometimes. The VL can be fairly well used by all, and every pikeman I know uses a LVA, even if they can't effectivly use it. Maybe people just don't like the look of the VL.
